Spirit

Christmas time is upon us! With all the warm weather we had up until the last couple of weeks, it makes it hard to get into the mood. Now Christmas lights are popping up and the weather is getting cold so hopefully the spirit will get into me and Brian and SOON!! I saw a sign on the way to my mom's today that said 27 days till Christmas!!!!! Unbelievable!!!! Our little Niblet is growing up on us, she is 5 months old now and I took her to Wal-Mart for a small portrait package and when they gave her the "prop" present, I thought she was going to explode in pure delight! That has really made me start to look through different eyes, she will be so fun, hopefully without choking on all the paper that she rips up. She was tearing, chewing and throwing that thing off the table! So much fun. Children are such a joy and when I see things through the eyes of my girls, I feel so much joy and excitement. Spilled milk doesn't even bother me (most of the time). Actually, I see the little face of my 3 year old saying "sorry mommy" with her big brown eyes and I just think, heck as an adult I spill stuff. I get so sad imagining the kids whose parents beat them or punish them by yelling and slapping them over something so small and my heart literally breaks in half. WE could learn a lot from these little people, so loving and forgiving!
